Black Lung Care

Working in the coal mines is a dangerous task. The inhalation of coal dust increases the risk of developing coal worker pneumoconiosis, interstitial lung disease, and various pulmonary diseases. If you’re a miner (active or inactive) that suffers from Black Lung or Coal Workers Pneumoconiosis, the professionals at Bluestone Health Association are committed to getting you the healthcare services you deserve.

About The Black Lung Program

Our Black Lung program offers comprehensive medical evaluations, treatment, and benefits counseling for miners (active or inactive) with the disease. It also provides education to help respiratory disease patients, and their families learn how to improve breathing, endurance, and quality of life. This program is funded by grants from the West Virginia Department of Health and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
