Our Women ’ s Health Services
Annual Exams and Preventative Care
Routine annual visits to support women’s reproductive and sexual health, including pelvic exams, breast exams, screenings for breast cancer and cervical cancer (Papsmear), and screenings for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs).
Contraceptives
Our clinic offers a variety of contraceptive options to help women make informed choices about their reproductive health and family planning. We provide personalized consultations to discuss the best options based on individual health needs, preferences, and lifestyle. Available methods include oral birth control, Nexplanon insertion and removal, Depo-Provera injections, and barrier methods like condoms. Our goal is to ensure that every woman has access to safe, effective, and convenient contraceptive options, empowering them to make the best decision for their health and future.
Maternity and Pregnancy Care
Our clinic offers limited maternity and pregnancy care to support women throughout their pregnancy journey, providing essential services along the way. We offer sick visits to address a variety of health concerns and symptoms, ensuring timely care when you’re not feeling well. Additionally, we provide referrals to specialists and other healthcare providers for more advanced or specific care as needed, ensuring that you receive comprehensive support.
Dexa Scans
Our clinic provides referrals for DEXA (Dual-Energy X-ray Absorptiometry) scans to assess bone density and help diagnose conditions like osteoporosis and other bone-related disorders. DEXA scans are an essential tool for evaluating bone strength and identifying risks for fractures. We refer patients who may be at increased risk—such as postmenopausal women, older adults, or those with a history of bone loss—to specialized facilities for this non-invasive, low-radiation test. By offering referrals forDEXA scans, we ensure that patients receive the necessary care to monitor and manage their bone health effectively

Affordable Access to Quality Care
At Bluestone Health Association, we base fees on your income because quality care should be accessible to everyone. Our sliding scale program reduces costs for low-income families, and some services, like Family Planning and Breast and Cervical Cancer Screenings, are free for qualifying individuals. We accept most insurance plans and bill Medicaid and Medicare directly, so you won’t have to deal with extra paperwork or wait for reimbursements.
