Dr. Ronald Wayne Billips, MD, a Bluefield, Virginia native, graduated from Graham HighSchool before earning a BS in Psychology/Sociology from Bluefield College. He obtained his medical degree from St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), where he served on multiple committees, including the Radiation Safety Committee and the Pandemic Flu AdvisoryGroup for the Virginia Department of Health. After completing his residency, he returned to the Bluefield area in 2009 to provide compassionate, high-quality care to the community he knows best. Dr. Billips is currently employed by Bluestone Health Association in Bluefield, West Virginia, and is an active member of the AMA and the American Academy of FamilyPhysicians. In his free time, he enjoys home improvement projects, reading, and spending time with his wife.
